Just peeped this on Shake’s Twitter (while Packin a mac in the back of the ac’) which immediately caught my attention. It’s been over 11 years since this song was released on the multi-platinum album Capital Punishment, and finally we have visuals for one of the best songs off the album (excluding Beware, Dream Shatterer, Twinz (Deep Cover ‘98) and Tres Leches (Triboro Trilogy)). Peep the way the M-Illi-Tant and Christopher Rios trade bars, that’s how it’s done people! According to Shake, this is getting a re-release as a single for the project / album The Legacy: The Best of Big Pun (Music From the Film), the soundtrack for Big Pun: The Legacy which is expected to drop Sept. 15th.

CHRISTOPHER RIOS, AKA BIG PUN HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE GREATEST MC’S TO EVER ROCK A MIC. UNFORTUNATELY HIS PROFESIONAL CAREER BARELY SPANNED A FEW YEARS, I’M GLAD HE WILL BE FOREVER IMMORTALIZED IN FILM. HOPEFULLY NOW HIS FAMILY WILL GET THE MONEYS THEY SO WELL DESERVE.
